Sixteen Take Honors in 22nd Annual Tulsa Shootout

TULSA, Okla. (December 30, 2006) - Sixteen different racers from ten different states proved to be the cream of the crop by walking away from Saturday nights' 22nd Annual Tulsa Shootout presented by Brodix finale at Tulsa Expo Raceway with a coveted Golden Driller trophy among their latest possessions.

A half dozen competitors among the nearly 1,100 entries doubled up by scoring a pair of wins in the 22 feature events for Micros, Karts and Quads.

Broken Arrow, Oklahoma's Donnie Ray Crawford scored a pair of Micro wins and was bidding for a third before settling for runner-up honors behind Jerrod Wilson in the headline 600cc Multi class division, which attracted a record 130 entries.

Nebraska racers Garrett Swiggart and Jody Krug, along with young Iowa shoe Cayden Carter, each scored a pair of victories in Kart action, while Michael Coburn and Chase Snapp swept the Pro and Amateur portions of the Quad competition, respectively.
